Happy with the water and ice in the door. The ice machine keeps up nicely. The door has lots of storage. For the price I would highly recommend it.

2 months ago my husband chose this model simply because he wanted a side by side. I try not to shop at big box stores so we had our local store order it sight unseen. I will not order anything else without first having one to look at. I do not like the unit at all. It is so narrow; it has virtually no space for fresh foods of which we eat a lot of. It is definitely an economy model; however I don't feel like I paid an economy price.
Purchase if you want a fridge that takes up a large area; if you don't use a lot of fresh veggies, if you don't need a lot of interior space.. oh and be sure you pull the handles down real well when you get it or they will come loose every time you open the door.
In the couple of months we have had the unit it works well. When it is making buzzing rattling noises just tap it on the side and the noises will stop.

Everything is so cheaply made compared to my old refrigerator. There should be another shelf in the door and refrigerator. Don't need two high shelves. Drawers are very cheap. I do like the way the water and ice are in the door. You don't have to do any switching to change from ice to water.

Ice maker works well, but takes up to much room in the freezer. Refrigerator side is good and cold, but shelves could be more efficient and adjustable .

I got this about 2 months ago and it is perfect. It is the right size and I love having cold water and ice available any time day or night. My friends and visitors love it too! There are so many nice deep roomy shelves, a big bonus!!

made a point to buy an amana because of problems with other makes in the past very dissatisfied so far purchased refrigerator 09/05/2019 repairman has been here twice already vibration stops for a while maybe 2 or 3 days then starts back up

I bought this a month ago and am very happy I did. Got good service from the store I bought it at. Fresh water at a touch and have plenty of ice at all times. Has a good sized ice container.

I have always bought Amana appliances. But only because of their features, durability and price. I have purchased an Amana stove and washer and dryer recently too. I bought all of them not really looking for the Amana brand name but looking for the best features and value Out of the top brands around, read all the reviews and Amana has always been on top of the list. Don't fall for the refrigerators with the variable compressors with the 10 year warranty there's a reason for that warranty you have to replace them every two years and after waiting months for the parts your good for another two years...Ha

My new Amana is a stellar part of my appliance inventory and replaces a supposedly good refrigerator which did not live up to its reputed excellence. So glad to have replaced it with a much better refrigerator from Amana.

I got this to replace my 16cf refer and am very glad I did. It keeps food and frozen products at the right temp but I especially like the ice maker and cold water dispenser.
